IEEE Student Branch Eindhoven is a local student branch of the IEEE run by students from the Eindhoven University of Technology. The IEEE brings together over 375.000 electrical and electronics engineers all across the globe and the IEEE Student Branch Eindhoven organizes activities for students at the TU/e. IEEEXtreme
On October 22nd, this year’s IEEEXtreme will be held. IEEEXtreme is a global annual programming contest, which attracted 970 teams from 50 countries last year. This year the IEEE Student Branch Eindhoven is organizing the opportunity for you as a member to join the IEEEXtreme as a team of 3 and enjoy our facilities, including a comfortable location, food and drinks to keep you energetic and awake throughout the 24-hour event.
49th Annual General Meeting
The 49th General Meeting of the IEEE SBE will be held on the 27th of October. The main point of discussion for this meeting will be this year’s annual Financial Report. The relevant documents as well as the Agenda and last meeting’s minutes will be made available one week in advance.
Advanced Latex Course
Those who have attended the Beginners LaTeX Course have been waiting for this event: the Advanced LaTex Course! This event will be held on October 3rd from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Careerday
Wednesday the 23rd of November, the IEEE SBE Careerday will be held. During this day, two alumni who studied Electrical Engineering at the TU/e will give a presentation about the process from graduating to finding a job. They will tell you what it is like to work for a large company when you have just finished your study. A workshop or case will be organized as well for this day, but the exact details will be presented to you later.
