In 2010 the IEEE Student Branch Eindhoven celebrates its 30th anniversary. This is a milestone which cannot pass by unnoticed. Together with the communication guild ODIN, which also celebrates its 30th anniversary, a joint program is put together to celebrate this jubilee. Together the two associations will organize a symposium, a 2-day trip abroad and a lustrum party in ‘Het Walhalla’. Also an evening for former board members of IEEE SBE will be organized on Friday. The lustrum week will be from 15 till 21 May 2010. After having been active as an IEEE volunteer for quite some years, Martin Bastiaans would very much like to become the Region 8 Director-Elect in 2011-2012 and Director in 2013-2014. Elections will take place in August-September 2010, and to get his name added to the ballot, he needs to collect about 900 signaturs. We, the board of IEEE Student Branch Eindhoven fully support Martin on this task.

We therefor encourage you to sign his petition, either electronically or by using the petition document. Using the petition document allows you to collect signatures amongst your fellow IEEE members, which will of course be highly appreciated!
